Zhina Sadeghi, M.D.
Dr. Zhina Sadeghi is fellowship-trained in neurourology, female pelvic medicine, and reconstructive urologic surgery from the University of Michigan. Her expertise spans a wide range of urological conditions, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary storage and voiding dysfunctions (such as overactive bladder and urinary incontinence), urethral and bladder neck pathologies (diverticula, strictures, etc.), neurogenic bladder, radiation cystitis, complications of urinary diversion and stomas, recurrent UTIs, urinary tract fistulas, and the evaluation and management of hydronephrosis, ureteral obstructions, and strictures. She performs both outpatient and complex inpatient surgeries, using vaginal, abdominal, endoscopic, open, and laparoscopic robotic approaches.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Sadeghi is deeply engaged in research aimed at advancing urology by understanding the underlying mechanisms of urological dysfunction and applying innovative therapies, including multipotent cell therapy, gene therapy, and neuromodulation. With over 20 years of experience, she has continually worked to enhance the field’s knowledge and develop new treatments for patients. Dr. Sadeghi has authored several publications in both translational and clinical research, with a particular focus on lower urinary tract dysfunction and pioneering reconstructive techniques.
She continues to push the boundaries of knowledge in her field, seeking to bring new therapeutic options to patients with complex urological conditions.
